About Us

I'm Barb Ballard and my husband is Don. Our son is Ray and he has XSCID.

Ray’s story has lots of ups and downs. I hope to keep this more updated so people can see what he’s accomplished and how far he’s come.

We live in Virginia.

It's not all about SCID though. This blog is also about various day to day activities, places we visit, and the things in which we are involved.

For 2010 I've been trying something new which I've called "Picture A Day". It's a bit of a personal challenge. I'm trying to post a picture every day. A few will be memories from the photo archives. Some will be pictures taken that very day. I hope you enjoy them. It's fun deciding which ones I want to post. You can view a larger version of each picture by clicking on it.
